Conservative's Win

It was all very tense up to this moment, but in the end, after all the commotion, the Conservatives broke through and won with currently 327 chairs (sorry if I've got it wrong).The Conservatives deserve a big win and David Cameron still holds 10 Downing Street.

4S Assembly

The 4S assembly was a great success and it was enjoyed by everyone. Their topic was fair trade and it was another very important thing that we had to know about. It was all about how important it is that everyone gets enough money for the products that they make. It was a very interesting assembly with drama, speaking and videos. They made an important point about chocolate and cocoa beans. Everyone was very loud and clear, consequently making it a very enjoyable assembly!!

Pokemon obsession

In Year three and four there is currently a pokemon obsession to collect all the cards. There are hundreds and lots of special, rare and limited edition cards too! I wish them all luck in being amazing and completing THE ULTIMATE POKEMON COLLECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5AD assembly

5AD's amazing assembly                                            1/5/15

Today 5AD put on an amazing assembly about the general election. They were talking about the right to vote which is a very important subject that we need to know about. They did it in a funny way using drama and sketches to express who were and who weren't allowed to vote a long time ago. Just a few hundred years ago, blacks, women, people who didn't own land, gay people and people under 21 couldn't vote. It was very unfair but we have fixed it now and our democracy is one of the best in the world. The voting age is currently 18 but some parties want to take it down to 16. Also, right now people in prison aren't allowed to vote and there is a debate about whether they should be able to. People who have been deemed medically insane are also not allowed to vote and there is another debate on this subject. Also in the assembly, during the prayer there was a random sneeze that made the hall erupt into hysterics. HA HA HA!!

FIRST OF THE MONTH.

5NH's assembly 24/4/15

Today 5NH performed there assembly it was BRILLIANT.
There was a bit of Morris dancing ,acting, singing and even a bit of a cricket game.

5NH started off with Morris Dancing so I will, when the girls went to do Morris dancing, I had never seen Morris dancing before so I think they did a pretty good job.

We've all seen acting but not in this way, it was all about the gunpowder plot, it was histerically funny.

After the acting there was a little cricket game, Harry bowled the ball and then Luke hit the ball right in the audience, I think it was everybody's aim to get a ball, luckily they were only soft balls!!!!!

After all the excitement Mr Harris showed us a clip on cheese rolling.( I did check the spelling, search and find it.)Cheese rolling is where you roll down a hill, it might sound easy but loads of people have broken there necks, spine, legs and there head!! At the end of this marvellous assembly we sung a old folk song called Be Thou My Vision
