Science Theatre
If you've looked at 3K and 4T's blog's you'll already know a bit about the science theatre we had today.
A man came into school for the first lesson. (He claimed he was from the future but nobody believed him). He said that 20 years forward in the future we all worked for him! Apparently we were all squashed together because there was no space left on the earth for us all. Our job was to create Earth 2. He said we were rubbish at building Earth 2 so he had come back in time to talk to us, so that in the future we would know what to do. First we looked at the periodic table(argh) and turned some volunteers into atoms! We learnt about how modules(atoms stuck together) turn in to gas, liquid and solid. Then we learnt about rocks. We had 3 more volunteers and they looked at how rocks could either fall of the earth, go into the earth or make mountains. After that we looked at different types of rocks and how they could come in handy for building Earth 2. Finally we knew how to build Earth2.
We all really enjoyed this talk and I will post some pictures separately soon.
